In six weeks’ time, Stirling will be heading to the ExCel in London to exhibit at the world leading defence and security event, DSEI 2017. The event is taking place between the 12-15th September and offers exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products and services to over 34,000 professionals within the defence and security sector.
This will be Stirling’s second year exhibiting at the DSEI and we will be showcasing our aerospace and marine technical services as well as our range of training and simulation technology at stand S5-400. We are really excited demonstrating new kit at this year’s event – a new dual rotary throttle and our active high force sticks. Stirling’s DSEI demonstration set-up will be configured to show how the technology is perfectly positioned for twin cockpit pilot simulation training – where the student pilot and instructor can interact effectively using feel force feedback. The sticks will be linked electronically and are reconfigurable in real-time to permit training of both normal flight and failure modes.
On attending DSEI, Stirling’s Business Development Director, Andrew Pfeil commented: “Taking our technology to internationally recognised events like DSEI is a really important part of our BD strategy. These shows provide the perfect platform for our technology to shine, there’s nothing like actually interacting with our kit and feeling the realism. People are usually impressed by the feel of the sticks and the small size of our devices, which really complements the trend we are seeing for more compact and reconfigurable simulator systems.”
As well as exhibiting at DSEI 2017, we will also be hosting 30th Anniversary drinks at our stand (S5-400) on Wednesday, 13th September from 15.30 pm onwards. This drinks reception will provide a great opportunity for show attendees to unwind after a busy day, and socialise and network. If you are attending this year’s DSEI event, we hope you can stop by to help us celebrate our 30th year in business!
